Can I earn without being a contractor or posting a job?
Yes. You can earn by introducing new property owners or contractors. You do not need a contracting business, a project of your own, or a paid subscription to refer someone.
How much do I earn?
QuoteAhead sets aside 30% of the award fee actually collected on a qualifying job. If you are the only eligible referrer, you receive the full pool. If both sides have eligible referrers, each side receives 15% of the fee. Your reward depends on the contractor's plan, project value, fee cap, and any refunds.
What makes a job qualify?
The person you invite must be a new user who joins through your link or code. A qualifying job must be accepted through QuoteAhead, completed, and have an award fee that QuoteAhead collects and retains. For a property owner, it is a job they post. For a contractor, it is a job their business wins. Signups alone and jobs with waived or fully refunded award fees do not earn a reward.
When can I receive my money?
Your reward appears as pending once the contractor accepts the award and the fee is collected. It becomes available after confirmed completion, payment review, and a 30-day holding period. Available balances of at least $50 are reviewed monthly for manual payout after recipient and payment-destination verification; smaller balances carry forward. Canceled, refunded, or disputed fees can reduce or reverse a reward.
Do I earn on repeat jobs?
Yes. Your referral has no fixed expiration, and qualifying repeat jobs can keep earning you rewards. Each job must generate an award fee that QuoteAhead collects and retains. Some direct or repeat jobs have waived fees under the pricing rules; those jobs do not earn a reward.
Can I invite more than one person?
Yes. Introduce more people and build more opportunities to earn. Each person's qualifying jobs can add to your rewards. Self-referrals and duplicate accounts or businesses do not qualify.
Does my referral cost the person I invite extra?
No. The reward comes from QuoteAhead's existing award fee. Property owners use the marketplace for free, and contractors pay their usual award fee. There is no extra referral charge.
